Carol P. DeBernardo

Carol P. DeBernardo, age 74, of Venice, Florida, passed away on February 21, 2021.  She was born on December 28, 1946 in Bridgeport, CT to John and Mary Sherback.  Carol moved to Venice in 2002 from Stratford, CT and was a deli clerk at Publix for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Carlo; three sons, Michael DeBernardo, his partner, Amy McGuire, and their children, Mitch and Isabelle; Mark DeBernardo, his wife Tricia and their children, Jack, Josie and Brody; Scott DeBernardo, his wife, Jennifer and their children, David and Sean. Carol is also survived by her brother, Robert Sherback and her sister, Joan Chonko.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Sherback and a brother, Richard Sherback.

A visitation for Carol will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at Farley Funeral Home in Venice.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Sarasota National Cemetery.  Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
