I am saddened to learn of Jim's passing. I am very sorry for your loss Carol, Mark and family. I share the same special memories of others of my first job at Chicken 'n Chips. This was very much a second family to me. Jim was always good to me, guided me on many things over the several years I spent there. He looked out for so many people and he will be missed. Thinking of the Sherburne family at this difficult time.

My heartfelt condolences to the Sherburne family during this time. I have so many fond memories of my time working at chicken n chips. In many ways Jim provided my start to responsibility and learning what it meant to have a job. Chicken n chips sent me to college. Not to mention taught me how to drive the minivan like a nascar professional. I owe many thanks to this family during my formative years. Wishing you all comfort and hope this New Year.

Im so sorry for your loss. Jim was very influential to me in my early years. I worked for him when i was 16, im 58 now and still use the lessons he tought me. I still go to the restaurant a lot and always smile when i remember him standing behind that counter telling us all " if youve got time to lean you've got time to clean.

Such a great man, my Uncle Jim. I love that he and Auntie Carol were such a fantastic team, from working the restaurant all those years ago to taking in countless rounds of golf together in Florida. Brian and I appreciated his advice as we worked to get our studio business off the ground. Our deepest condolences to Auntie Carol, Mark, Patty, Jamie, and Sara. At least he and Tammy are together once again...

Dear Carol, Mark and family, I am sorry to hear that Jim has passed. He was a good friend and we spent many hours together at Chicken N’ Chips and various other destinations. He was a wonderful conversationalist and we shared many a story. Jim was always able to keep my interest peaked when he was telling a story and I remember so many of them. He was generous, kind and always willing to help others. I have missed him since we moved from Nashua, but have thought of him often. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My condolences to the Sherburne family. A strong advocate for the youth of both Nashua and Hudson...... many of us teenagers “cut our teeth” in the early development of our work ethic, behind the counter at Chicken “n” Chips. Those were great times, great times indeed! “Change your shirt Jim, time to go home.......”
