So sad to hear of your mom's death, Debbie. I know she was a kind and giving lady, always treating everyone like family. I hope the peace of the Christmas Season helps the family, especially your dad, through this difficult time. God bless you all.

Grandma- you will be missed. I wish you could have seen Emery and Hudson before you passed. They would have made you smile as you did when we were kids. I hope your life was fulfilled. I know you will watch over them from heaven. Love and miss you!

Mom, You where my mother and best friend. You where always there for us and a visit or phone call away. We always knew we were loved. We couldn’t have asked for a better mother. I’m trying to find the words that best describe you. I’ve come up with Loving, Unselfish, understanding, funny, loyal, beautiful, strong, a jokester, a tough cookie and stubborn. You where one of a kind and very loved by your whole family. We will all miss you mom. Love you More Dawn

Joanie was such a sweet lady. We are so glad that we got to know her and Rich through MIke and Deb. We always enjoyed meeting up for dinner with them and then watching Rich and Mike argue over who was going to pay the bill. We always knew that Joanie was a special mom who Deb would talk to daily, and reading the other entries here just confirms that even more. She was loved so very much by her family and friends. She had such an easygoing spirit. We will miss her, but are glad that she is not suffering anymore. Now she is just watching over her family from above and she will know that the kids are still there for Rich and will take good care of him.

I am not lying when I say I have the best mother in the world. I will miss our phone calls just to tell her a good or bad thing that happened that day. She was the originator of the “Sitton hotline”. If one of us kids knew some news, we all knew in 10 minutes. It was on the Sitton hotline! She was the Joanie Boloney- the practical joker or just playing a silly trick on you. She was the mother in law that doted on you. You couldn’t get a better one. She treated them like her own kids. Never forgot a birthday or an anniversary. Just so thoughtful. So kind. A cherished grandmother. Our kids sure were lucky. My mom loved my dad so much. They were married for over 62 years. He will be lost without her. We all will. I take comfort that she went peacefully, and that I just spent a great Thanksgiving with them. She had a rough couple of years, a few falls and surgeries, never catching a break. She never complained. She was tough. II think we will all have a hole in our heart for a long time. Thank you for everything Mom. I love you forever❤️ Kristy

Leave it to Joan to go out in style, her way. Peacefully, at home, with her husband and children around her. Couldn't write a better ending. Cry not, she had a long and wonderful life. Proof of that is the huge loving family she leaves behind..She was a great sister..I am proud to be called her baby brother..always in my heart..Love Bob.
