Margaret F. Scurek, age 78, of Venice, FL passed away on January 7, 2019. She was born to Joseph and Margaret Musik in Hillside, NJ on October 3, 1940, and came to Venice from Toms River, NJ. She worked as an operating room technician in Union, NJ before she retired. Margaret was a member of the Red Hat Society and a basket weaver. She also volunteered on the beach turtle patrol and with the Loveland Center.
Surviving family members include her husband of 56 years, Ronald, of Venice; sons John of Texas and Steven of Minnesota; grandchildren Alexis, Ryan, Jozef, Gwendolyn and Addison; and brother Joseph Musik of New Jersey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Epiphany Cathedral on Friday, January 18th at 10 AM.
Memorial donations may be made to the Loveland Center, 157 Havana Rd, Venice, FL 34292.

We loved Midge and had great times together in Red Hats and volunteering at Loveland Center.
