Mary “Pat” Reynolds, 86, of North Port, FL passed away on January 2, 2021. Born on December 28, 1934 in Orange, NJ to the parents of Edward and Eva Levandoski Reynolds, Pat was the oldest of two daughters. She was the first to graduate from Rutgers University. Upon graduating with her master’s degree in Social Work, she specialized in the field of mental health. After moving to Florida, Pat worked for the Red Cross during Hurricane Andrew. Serving 20 years with the Sarasota County Health Department, Pat retired in 2009. Passionate about helping others, Pat held volunteer positions with Tidewell Hospice, Friends of the Library, and Healthy Start. Pat was a member of the National Association of Social Workers. She continued to learn and gather friends in her Photo-Camera Club.
Preceded in death by both parents and her sister, Pat is survived by two nieces and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial Donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice, National Kidney Foundation, or Our Mother’s House. Farley Funeral Home in North Port is in charge of arrangements.
