Colbert, Patrick Francis, 87, of Venice Florida formerly of Mahwah New Jersey died peacefully at home on December 28, 2020. Patrick was President of Colbert Consulting Group an international consulting firm for pipe fitting manufacturers before retiring this year. He was a world traveler that loved to travel to Asia and bring family or associates with him and introduce them to new cultures and the “Colbert” way to travel 1st class all the way! Devoted father to Christine of Brick New Jersey and predeceased by his son Patrick. Loved by his life companion Patricia. Loving brother to Veronica Eichinger of Miami and Uncle to her children Maureen and Curtis. Cherished Grandfather to Christine’s Children Samantha & Joseph Patrick Licata, Patrick and Dawn’s Children Nicholas, Dana, Patrick and Sarah. Adored by his daughter-in-law Dawn Colbert.
My sincere condolences to the family and frieds. Patrick had an unique way to help companies and persons with his huge knowledge of pipe fittings business that everyone felt safety and pleasure working with him. I am very grateful for his kindly and incredible support to me every moment I needed. He was more than a partner, he was a special friend that worked with us. I felt he considered me the same way, a friend prior to be a colleague. Rest in peace my dear friend.
One evening Patrick, myself Patricia and two of my girlfriends went out to dinner at a lovely French restaurant. We had wine and champagne and the server asked what are you celebrating. Patrick announced "they just got out of the Betty Ford Clinic" - we all laughed.....He had that kind of wit!
