Richard E. Miller “Dick” peacefully passed away on January 4, 2021, surrounded by the love of his wife and two daughters. He is survived by, the love of his life, his wife June. Dick and June had been together since they were teenagers, and were married for 59 years. He is preceded in death by his mother, Edna Roos and father, Joseph Miller. He leaves behind daughters, Crystal Beavers, Melissa Miller; grandchildren Cory Pierson, Kyle Pierson, Lauryn Breitwieser; and brothers Doug and Bob Miller.

Dick was a talented craftsman and designer. He and June owed and operated, Miller Cabinet Making Company, for 25 years in their home state of Rhode Island. He and his wife relocated to Venice, Florida in 1988. In Florida, they enjoyed 32 years of happiness in the sunshine with their family. He was loved by many for his caring spirit, generosity, and easy-going personality. He enjoyed photography, golfing, computer technology, and spending time with his family and close friends. He will be missed more than words can convey.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date, to be announced. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to, Furry Angels Dachshund Rescue, in Foster, Rhode Island.

I love this picture of my sweet, caring, smart, creative, kind Brother-in-law. Most of all it reminds me of the twinkle in his eyes when he looked at his love, my sister. RIP dear Dickie.
