Victor Thomas Biziewski Jr. of Venice, Florida passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 30, 2019 at the age of 66.

Victor was born to parents Victor and Beverly Biziewski on November 17, 1953 in Venice Hospital. He graduated from Venice High School in 1971 and earned his Associates Degree in Gainesville before starting his own flooring business with his father. Victor married LaRay DeRuiz in February of 1982. They had one daughter, Tiffany Paige Biziewski, also a Venice High School graduate. He was proud of her recent move to San Diego, California to live her dream as a creative director.  They lived in Venice until 2003 when they made the big move to North Port Estates. Victor’s joys came from playing the guitar, listening to music, and collecting antiques. Most of all, he loved working on his property and reveling in the solitude of the country. LaRay and Victor, who both work for the Sarasota County School system, had planned on retiring this year and moving to the mountains of North Carolina.  Victor will be missed not only by his wife and daughter, but by his sister Patricia Tennent of Atlanta, Georgia and his mother Beverly Biziewski of St. John, USVI.

A beloved husband, father, son and friend whose passing has left a void in the lives of everyone who knew him. We will always remember Victor’s smile it somehow made the room brighter and bought smiles to the faces of those who saw it. I remember that photo of Victor and his dog at the beach they were both carefree, happy and enjoying life. In our hearts Victor will always be smiling. May the memories of time shared with Victor bring you peace and comfort in the future.

There are many reasons we loved Victor. He was a great friend, would give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. He had a great sense of humor and a smile that let you know he enjoyed a good joke or story. He was a man of integrity, would drive back to the grocery store to return the extra dollar they accidentally gave him in change. He was a lover of good music; a mutual love of classic rock, especially Guns n Roses, started many of our conversations. He enjoyed relaxing with friends and enjoying a beer and chicken wings. His loss leaves a hole in our lives, but we will always remember the good times we shared. Our condolences and sympathies are with his family at this difficult time. We are here for you.

My heartfelt condolences to the Biziewski family during this very difficult time. I had the privilege of knowing this wonderful, kind, and gentle man, and his family, from their visits to see his mom, who adored him. I will always remember his smile, rather bashful and impish I will always admire the obvious love between he and LaRay. Stay strong LaRay RIP Victor

My condolences go out to Victors family. I had the pleasure of working with Victor and really getting to know him over the past few years at Atwater Elementry. A lot of people never got to know the real Victor but I have the pleasure of saying I truly did. I will miss him a lot.

I am at a lost for words. My husband Mark Bender and I worked with Victor years ago, In the few years that we did, a friendship developed. One to where we did not have to speak or see one another often to know that at any time any one of us needed something we could call on each other. Victor shared the same love of music as my husband Mark. When Mark and I decided to move to Georgia, Victor was the only one that Mark wanted to take some of his LP collection, he knew that Victor would enjoy them and take care of those LP's. I only wished that after my husband and I moved back to Florida, that we had reached out more to share good times with Victor and his beautiful wife. Victor's smile was contagious also, he had the best smile, it would light up a room. We will truly miss him, but we are so blessed that he was part of our lives.

Recently I went to their house to watch a favorite show that LaRay and I share. While talking I mentioned how bad the arthritis was in my right big toe. Victor immediately went and got some of his cream and shared it with me. He wanted me to relieve my pain. What a wonderful man!
