William R. Marfizo, 80, of Englewood FL, passed away on 12/24/2020 after a fierce battle with Covid 19. Bill was born on 12/15/1940 to Anthony and Ann (Yantus) in Windbur, PA. After Graduating from Parma High School, in Parma Ohio, Bill went on to attend Kent State University In pursuit of a degree in Art. Bill served as a member of the U.S. Army, being based at Fort Knox, KY. After being Honorably Discharged, Bill held various jobs, before settling into the automobile business. In 1964, he began his career at MidPark Chrysler Plymouth in northern Ohio, holding multiple positions ranging from Salesman to eventually minority owner in his 22 years there. Bill met his loving wife GeorgAnne (Kuzminski) whom he wed in 1964, and was blessed with two children, William J. and Dina. Bill and his family moved to Florida in 1986 to continue his work in the automobile business until his retirement from Crest Cadillac in Venice in 2002. Bill was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family to give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He loved spending any time possible with his grandchildren and was so proud of each of them. Bill was also a passionate boater and car enthusiast, often being found on or near the water, or at a local car event. Anyone that knew Bill knew that he was the most loving husband, father and grandfather any family could ask for. Bill was preceded by Anthony (father), Ann (mother), and Gerald (brother). He is survived by GeorgAnne (his wife of 56 years), William J.(son) and wife Val, Dina (daughter), Janet (sister), and grandchildren Cody, Kayla, and Kelsey.
