Obituary

Rev. Kenneth K. Birky, 80, of Venice, Florida died April 29, 2006. He was born March 8, 1926 in Pleasant Township, Indiana. He is a former resident of Valparaiso & Wanatah, IN. Rev. Birky was the Minister for Grace Baptist Church in Washington, Indiana for 7 years, retiring in 2002. He served at several churches throughout Indiana and New York. Rev. Birky was also an auto machinist, a farmer and owned two service stations. He was a member of the Fellowship Bible Church in Venice and was a Veteran of WWII, U.S. Navy.

Rev. Birky is survived by his wife Mary Jane Birky of Venice, FL; his daughter Evelyn Foust of Venice, FL; and his brother Paul Birky of Sun City, AZ.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 3rd from 1-3 PM at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.

Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso, IN.

Memorial Donations may be made to the Venice Christian School, 1200 Center Road, Venice, FL 34292

Dear Mrs. Birkey and Evelyn and Mike, I wanted to extend my deepest sympathy at Pastor Birkey's passing. It was an honor to know him. He always had a kind word for me whenever I saw him.I know he is home now in God's arms and look forward to seeing him again. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Debbie
