Obituary

Louis (Lou) Chapman, 63, of North Port, Florida (formerly of Jacksonville, Illinois) son of the late Virgil and Beulah Chapman passed away Saturday, March 27th at his home.  He is survived by his wife Ann (Morris) Chapman of North Port, Florida, sisters; Ada (Virgil) Isringhauser of McLean, Illinois, Ava (Ted) Schmidt of Highland, Illinois and Carole (Monte) Campbell of Clinton, Illinois; brother Allen (Nancy) Chapman of Carrollton, Illinois, three nephews, three great nieces, five great nephews and one great great niece.  Lou was preceded in death by his father, mother and a niece.  Lou worked at ACH in Jacksonville for 33 years.  He enjoyed living in Florida for retirement and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.  Cremation will take place in Florida and he will be buried at a later date in Eldred Memorial Gardens in Eldred, Illinois.

So sorry Ann, Helen and I are still in a state of shock ourselves since you told us, can only imagine what you are going through, we are here for you and will pray for you daily.. Really enjoyed your daily drive byes and time we spent talking with you and Lou, sad that we didn't get to do the things we intended together.. Ann we only knew you and Lou a short time but knew right away you could be good friends. It is so sad our time was cut short with Lou, I treasure the time we spent together and his teasing me about more Millie Maes that what I want to remember his making me smile. Jr and I are so very sorry you lost Lou, he with his God now.
