I have many fond memories of growing up with my cousin “Lynn Ann.” Being only 2 months apart we spent a lot of time together on family vacations and get-togethers. My life is richer for having had Lynn in it. My sincere sympathy to Rich, Chris, Patti, and the rest of Lynn’s family. God Bless.

Shortly after moving to Esplanade, I met Lynn at Zumba dance class. After class, I offered to show her the steps for a line-dance and she told me she didn’t like line-dancing. After getting to know her and her great sense of humor, I forgot to ask if she really didn’t like line-dancing. Lynn had a very compassionate soul especially for Hospice patients and their families. When the Hospice House near us opened Lynn had the Sunday evening shift right before my shift. We would catch up our lives and then she would update me on the evenings situation. I remember the twinkle in her eyes when she talked about her children, grandchildren, and her dog Jack. I looked forward to seeing Abbey’s smiling face and missed seeing her when she stopped volunteering because of her cancer. I feel lucky that I got to know her kind spirit and will miss her.

I grew to know Lynn when we shared the caring and feeding of a small black, abandoned kitten. Lynn had a special aura of grace about her, which I am sure continues to light her way now. My condolences to Lynn's family.

Although I wasn’t a close friend, I enjoyed chatting with her around the neighborhood. She was a lovely lady and we’ll miss her on Prima Drive. Our thoughts are with the family at this sad time.
