What a sad loss of a truly gracious gentleman! I was lucky enough to spend some time getting to know "Mr P" when he visited Greg in Panama. A real "dad" who could stand in with genuine wisdom and sage advice at a time when my heart was aching for my own dad, so far away in Africa. Thanks, Mr P, for taking us under your wing - and thanks Greg and Mrs P for sharing him with us. Such wonderful warm memories, I know he will be sorely missed xxx With much love to all the family and friends who cherish his memory xxx

Dick was a favorite of mine when I relocated to Florida and joined Good Shepard Lutheran Church. He always was smiling and happy. A wonderful example of God’s servant. Well done Dick. I suppose you have a golf 3-some with Charlie and Bruce. Jane, I am so sorry for your loss. Dick will be missed.

Dick was the sweetest neighbor and Joe and I truly loved talking with him and his lovely wife, Jane! A beautiful couple. We will miss his smile and are truly saddened to have to say goodbye for now. We will be praying for Jane and family.

In 2014, with Jane's help, we all found each other again and I was able to go to their gorgeous home and spend a few hours getting to know them and learning about so much I did not know. Every time my husband, Clark, and I would go to Florida to visit Clark's family, we made a special trip up to Osprey to visit with Dick and Jane. I gained such a love for both of them and our going to lunch and visiting with them was such a blessing and the highlight of my trips to Florida. I hope to continue those visits with Jane. Jane is such a beautiful and bubbly lady and Dick was so handsome and always brought a giggle and a smile to our faces during those visits. We had such great visits and such great times and laughs. I was so proud to have been able to get to know Dick and to rekindle our relationship as and Aunt and an amazing nephew! I will miss him more than I can express at these times. But I know that I will see him again some day. I love you both so much.

Dick was a wonderful neighbor whom I enjoyed talking to "thru the fence" many a time. I will miss our conversation as well as his always friendly face...he rests in peace with the Lord our God and may he find comfort in the loving memory that all will carry with them who knew him...strength and love to Jane, family, and friends.....

Dear Jane and family, It is with great sorrow in my heart to express my deepest sympathy on the loss of a truly good man, friend, and a great servant of the Lord through out his life! I am sure as sure can be that Dick heard from the mouth of his Savior, “Well done thou good and faithful servant. Pass into the glory of your Lord”. And so let it be to Dick, he fought the good fight, he finished the race, he kept the faith. Jane, may your faith give you peace at this time !!!
